JUNK ORDINANCE ENFORCEMENT

The South Range Village Council has received an increasing number of complaints regarding blight and junk accumulation within the Village limits. The Council is taking these concerns seriously and will begin actively enforcing South Range Village Ordinance No. 1996-1, commonly referred to as the “Junk Ordinance.”

In the coming weeks, letters may be delivered to property owners whose properties are believed to be in violation of the ordinance. The goal of this enforcement effort is to improve the appearance, safety, and overall quality of the community for all residents.

The Village encourages voluntary compliance before further enforcement action becomes necessary. Enforcement will be handled consistently and in accordance with Village ordinances.

Residents with questions, concerns, or complaints regarding possible ordinance violations are encouraged to contact the Village Clerk at the Village Office.
